Daniel Tanner

Licensed Specialist

Daniel is a proud Virginian who has called the Commonwealth home his entire life. Born at Portsmouth Naval Hospital, he spent his early years in Virginia Beach before growing up in Manassas. He later attended James Madison University, where he pursued a degree in Biology. From Northern Virginia to Hampton Roads, Daniel has built strong connections across the state and is proud to now serve the Suffolk community through Beltone Hearing Center.

Daniel joined the Beltone family in 2024 as a Patient Care Coordinator, bringing with him several years of experience in hearing healthcare. His journey has been driven by a genuine passion for helping others reconnect with the people and moments that matter most. Through dedication, perseverance, and a commitment to excellence, he advanced from Hearing Instrument Technician to becoming a Fully Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist.

Daniel believes that hearing is about so much more than simply listening— it’s about staying connected to family, friends, and the world around you. He takes the time to understand each patient’s unique hearing needs, providing personalized solutions and ongoing support every step of the way. From your first hearing evaluation to follow-up care and hearing aid adjustments, Daniel is committed to making every patient feel comfortable, informed, and confident throughout their hearing journey.

His compassionate, patient-first approach focuses on improving not only hearing, but also quality of life. Whether helping someone enjoy conversations with loved ones again or rediscover the sounds they’ve been missing, Daniel finds great fulfillment in making a positive difference in the lives of those he serves.

Outside the office, Daniel enjoys spending time with family and friends and has been passionate about soccer his entire life. He plays in a local coed adult league and recently coached his nephew’s U9 soccer team to an impressive 6-1-1 season. Depending on the time of year, you’ll also find him cheering on the Tides, Admirals, or his beloved New York Giants, or relaxing at the beach.  Daniel is also a devoted dog dad to Archer, his 10-year-old rescue Husky mix. Adopted in 2017, Archer is a constant companion and a reminder of Daniel’s love for giving others a second chance. If you happen to spot Daniel’s black Jeep Wrangler around town, you’ll recognize it by the paw-print magnet that proudly reads, “Who Rescued Who?”
