• 95% of all hearing aid malfunctions are due to wax or dirt in the speaker. This can be fixed in our office in about 10 min. and should cost nothing.
• A “dry aid desiccant” (if used properly) will extend the life of the microphone and speaker for many years and it should only cost about $10.00.
• There is no mechanical problem that a hearing aid wearer can have that cannot be diagnosed and kept from happening in the future.
• Feedback is fully preventable and should never occur at a comfortable listening level.
• A legitimate hearing aid repair only occurs about 5% of the time and should come with a full warranty.
