Drewry Tatterson

Board Certified Specialist

Driven by a genuine passion for helping others, Drewry Tatterson is a trusted, caring, and highly dedicated Board-Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist. Since joining the Beltone team in 2018. This followed a successful and fulfilling career with The Virginian-Pilot, Drewry has become known not only for her clinical expertise but for her heartfelt commitment to improving the lives of those she serves. Patients in the Norfolk offices describe her as patient, attentive, and exceptionally compassionate, someone who listens closely and treats every individual with the respect and kindness they deserve.

Drewry approaches hearing care with the belief that better hearing opens doors, not just to sound, but to relationships, confidence, and independence. Her greatest reward comes from witnessing the transformation that occurs when patients begin reconnecting with the world around them. One of her most memorable success stories involved a patient who felt isolated and discouraged after struggling with hearing loss for years. With the help of Beltone hearing aids, she was able to joyfully reconnect with her grandchildren over Zoom, return to an active role in her church community, and take charge of her personal affairs with newfound confidence. Stories like these continually reaffirm Drewry’s belief that hearing care is not just a service, but a life-changing gift.

Drewry’s strong academic background reflects her dedication to excellence. She earned her undergraduate degree from the College of William & Mary and later completed her MBA at Old Dominion University, combining a solid academic foundation with a keen understanding of patient care, communication, and professional leadership. She is fully licensed by the state and holds a National Board Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences, ensuring she upholds the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and expertise in her daily practice.

When she is not assisting patients, Drewry embraces a joyful and well-rounded life. She loves spending quality time with friends and family, cheering on ODU football, and recently discovered a love for pickleball, which has quickly become one of her favorite ways to stay active and have fun. At home, she is lovingly devoted to her rescued beagle, Sophia Grace, who enjoys a well-deserved life of affection, treats, and gentle spoiling.

With her blend of compassion, skill, and dedication, Drewry continues to make a meaningful impact on her patients and her community, one person, one conversation, and one improved hearing experience at a time.
